HISTORY

Serranas is an integrating, processing and trading company with 100% Mexican capital, which guarantees the supply of raw materials, control and uniformity of quality.

The beginning of operations.

Asociaciones Agroindustriales Serranas S.A. of C.V. emerged as a trading service option for agricultural producers. It started operations on June 25, 1994, with only coffee and allspice and later in the year 1999, it successfully ventured into cacao.
It was founded in the municipality of Tlapacoyan, Veracruz, being a strategic point for the commercialization of coffee and allspice. Placing ourselves in this municipality has represented an element of innovation in the way of doing business in the agricultural sector.

Our business philosophy has made us the undisputed leaders within the sector, seeking to organize and train producers with the purpose of establishing a supplier development program that allows them to improve post-harvest handling processes and obtain fair prices for their products. Our company recognizes and values quality.

1999 -2004

The commercialization of greater volumes of coffee, allspice and cacao were achieved with the establishment of two branches; the one in Comalcalco, Tabasco in 1999, where cacao and allspice were collected and processed; and another in 2004 in Huixtla, Chiapas, where coffee was collected.

Likewise, there is a finished coffee product warehouse and an allspice processing plant-warehouse in Perote, Veracruz.
